Product Launches
Working at Steed Cycles as marketing manager, I have excellent industry connections thanks to the excellent store reputation behind me. I worked with suppliers to procure prestige products pre-launch to produce exciting promotional material ready for launch day, including several Santa Cruz Bicycles launches and the groundbreaking Sram Eagle Transmission launch.

Partnerships and Collaborations
Collaboration is important ; being able to connect with other businesses and tell stories together makes those stories so much more captivating and meaningful.
I’m lucky, working at Steed Cycles and living in the Sea To Sky, to have access to many premier brands, many of which are either local or have brand values aligned with our own.
I’ve worked and collaborated with small businesses in their infancy, up to large multinational companies, United Strangers Coffee to Santa Cruz Bicycles. The key is knowing your audience.

Community and Events
Community is an important part of life; people need it to feel like they belong to something, and the cycling community is a truly great one. Without it we wouldn’t have the trail networks we ride, group rides or even the friendships that we rely on. Looking after and strengthening that community is incredibly important.
In 2022 I organised 5 trail days with record turn-out, an NSMBA Fiver Apres party, and took part in and captured media at several Ride Club road cycling events.

Email Marketing
Email may not the sexiest form of marketing, but it’s been shown time and again that it’s still by far one of the most effective. Using Klaviyo I set up automated emails and write weekly newsletters bringing in more than three quarters of a million dollars in extra revenue per year.
