NSMBA TAP Trail Days
Working with the NSMBA on our TAP (Trail Adoption Plan) trail days on Pennzoil, I collaborated with Santa Cruz Bicycles as co-sponsor and worked with NSMBA builders to schedule dates and promote accordingly and coordinate for media to be captured. 2023 saw record turn-outs with and meant that over the course of the year the entire trail was re-worked and buffed to the best condition it had ever been in.

NSMBA Fivers
The NSMBA Fiver mini-enduro race series is one of the highlights of the year for many North Shore mountain bikers and is an important part of the calendar, so Steed Cycles is proud to sponsor a round every year.
In 2022 I coordinated with sponsors Fox/Race Face and shop staff and volunteers to throw a Fiver Apres that would be remembered. Supported by Wildeye Brewing, we threw a beach-themed party with BBQ, DJ and fun tropical themes.
The party was a hit, receiving great customer feedback and was a great opportunity to capture media and some lead generation activities with a prize draw for a set of pedals in exchange for an email address as well as a tailgate pad exchange program with a donation to the local food bank.

Ride Club
Ride Club is Steed Cycles’ road cycling club, meeting up to six times a month in the summer it allows riders from all ages, abilities and backgrounds to come together and share a mutual passion.
Once a month is the Ride Club BBQ, for which I coordinated Wildeye Brewing as our beverage sponsor, and gave an opportunity for other partner brands to sponsor the evening such as 7mesh and Cadex.
I arranged for media to be captured by either myself or somebody else. The resulting media has excellent engagement on social media, and gives me a chance to engage in-person with customers, furthering the brand image.
